How we handle the personal data you give us when you book a game, buy a gift voucher or get in touch.
The authoritative version of our privacy notice is the Hungarian one. This English page summarises what it means for you in practice. Where the two differ, the Hungarian text governs.

The booking form asks for the details we need in order to hold your slot and to reach you if anything changes:
If you ask for an invoice, we also need a billing name and address. Nothing else on the form is required.
When you order a gift voucher or send us a message, we process the details you enter on that form so that we can fulfil the order or answer you. Voucher orders are finalised in a follow-up conversation by phone or e-mail.
You only receive our newsletter if you sign up for it, and every newsletter carries an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing does not affect any booking you have made.
The site uses cookies that are needed for it to work — for example to keep your booking together while you complete it. These are always active, because without them the site cannot function.
For anything beyond that, we ask first. The cookie banner offers two clear choices: Accept or Essential only. Simply using the site is not treated as consent.
If you accept, the site loads a Google Tag Manager container
(GTM-KL734X6), and through it Google Analytics 4
(G-73XEZR169J) and Google Ads (AW-849495436); the container also
includes a Meta (Facebook) pixel. If you do not accept, none of these load. The site uses
Google Consent Mode v2, whose default state for every measurement and advertising purpose
is denied.
Under the GDPR you can ask us what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, object to certain processing, and ask for a copy of it. Write to info@idocsapda.hu and we will deal with your request. You also have the right to complain to the Hungarian data protection authority (NAIH) or to go to court; the Hungarian notice sets out these routes.
Our escape rooms are at Erzsébet körút 17, 1073 Budapest and Csángó utca 8, Budapest. Any other address appearing in the Hungarian notice is a company registration address, not a venue.
We publish this summary in English so that our English-speaking guests are not left without information. It is a plain-language summary, not a separate legal document: the Hungarian notice is the one that applies. If you would like any part of it explained in English, just ask us at info@idocsapda.hu.
We would rather be straight with you than sound more finished than we are. The Hungarian notice is under legal review, and it marks the open points in its own text. They are, in short: which of two stated effective dates applies; confirmation of the controllers' registered addresses and their relationship to each other; the supervisory authority's current official contact details, which the source document does not contain; and the fact that our cookie banner offers two choices rather than per-category consent. We have deliberately not filled these in from memory or guesswork. None of them affects what we actually do with your data, which is described above.
